A Message from Stewardship Chairperson Irene Marousis

To my Saint Barbara family,

I hope this email finds you all well and enjoying the summer.
The parish as expected, rose to the occasion and provided much needed support over the last four months. I have no doubt that this will continue because of our strength and resilience. As we continue to practice social distancing and quarantines as needed, it leaves our usual time together heavily impacted.

Any member who sent in contributions that were meant for Stewardship without a pledge card should let us know. We want to make sure it is accounted for correctly. You can respond to this email, which will go to the church office or call. Statements have been sent to verify your pledge and contributions made thus far.

If you have not done so, your pledge and/or contributions can be made at this time. The financial impact will effect the church, our businesses and families for a period of time. We must stay faithful to our Orthodox Christian beliefs and not be tempted by negative agendas.

The devil flourishes in times of trouble and uncertainty. We must be there for each other with love in our hearts and understanding in our minds.

The church is, has always been, and will continue to be the mainstay in our lives. If you need us we are here and remember not to forget Saint Barbara as we continue to stay the course back to recovery.

May the Lord continue to bless you all,
Irene
