My Dearly beloved of Saint Barbara,

 

As we all know, the Turkish government will convert Agia Sophia in Constantinople into a Mosque this Friday. As a sign of sadness, all Greek Orthodox Churches in America will toll their church bells and chant the Akathystos Hymnos.

 

This will take place this Friday July 24, 2020 at 4 pm. I ask that, if possible, turn on your computers or phones and log into our live broadcast and participate in prayer along with me and the hundreds of parishes throughout our Metropolis and country.
